Last time I photographed the Chappell family it was a fall session . . . which quickly turned into a winter session. About five minutes into their session it started snowing and not just a little snow - like giant, wet snowflakes. It didn't stop us, but the kids weren't too happy. I did still get some great shots and one of Brandon and Kayla which is a favorite of mine to this day. 

This year they did a summer session plus with their newest addition, of a baby! So I met the family of six for a morning session, to beat the heat. 

The kids did so good! They smiled, walked around and really were so well behaved we got the session done in record time. I loved the morning sunshine and similar to the last family session I did, mornings worked great for the little kids. Especially in this heat! I couldn't imagine doing a family session at 4 p.m. I think everyone would be sweaty and irritated 15 minutes in. 

I loved the colors Kayla chose for the family, the soft pinks photograph really beautifully. We walked around, said cheese a lot and had a tickle fight, really a great Sunday morning for this cute family. What do you think?
