School Photos Are Back

You know the school photo. You send them off looking adorable. Hair brushed. Outfit carefully picked. You give the “please just smile normal” speech before they leave...

And then the photos come back.

Maybe the smile is a little questionable. Maybe the expression says I was told to smile and I did my best. Maybe you just wish you had more than ONE pose to choose from.

That’s where my School Photo Day comes in.

I’ve been doing these for more than 10 years, and one of my favorite things about them is that they’re still everything you want from traditional school pictures — quick, affordable, and perfect for documenting another year — but in a completely different environment.

There’s no giant line of classmates waiting behind them. No pressure to nail one smile in five seconds. And no random school-photo background you have to commit to forever.

Instead, your kid gets a few minutes with me to relax, chat, laugh and let me pull out a little bit of their actual personality.

THREE POSES. LESS THAN 10 MINUTES. EASY PEASY.

Each child gets three different poses, giving you a little variety instead of one single photo.

And parents, I know you have approximately 847 other things to do.

These are FAST.

Each child's session takes less than 10 minutes. Pick your time, show up, let me do my thing, and you're on your way.

No hour-long photo session. No convincing your entire family to coordinate outfits. No spending your whole afternoon taking pictures.

Just really cute, updated photos of your kiddo.

AND YES, THEY'RE AFFORDABLE.

Packages start at just $15, so you can keep it simple or add additional prints and photo gifts if Grandma needs one, too. (And we both know Grandma needs one.)

I've photographed kids and families for well over a decade, which means I've seen it all — the shy kids, the silly kids, the “I don't smile for pictures” kids, the kids who suddenly forget how their face works when a camera comes out.

You don't have to worry about getting the smile. That's my job.

All you need to do is choose your time slot, bring me your kiddo, and let me take it from there.

You’ll receive a copy of the order form by email that you can save and print ahead of time. Don’t have a printer or forget to bring it? No worries! I’ll have plenty of copies available on photo day for you to fill out.

Packages start at just $15, and you can add additional prints from there. Photo gifts and other specialty items will also be available with the purchase of a package.

2026 School Portrait Time Sign Ups

Below are available times for school portraits October 3 

REMEMBER: Choose one time slot for all of your children. You will see that there are 2 spots for each time, because these sessions are so short (and sweet) this allows me to double up to get done sooner. So just choose ONE time slot per your family. 

You will see the order form below, feel free to print it or I can drop off copies, just let me know. I will have online ordering available 24-hours prior to the session date as well.
There is a 3% charge on all online orders. 

An email will be sent prior to session day for confirmation of time and date. These are first come, first serve basis and time slots may not be available. After the session you will receive an email for you to choose your favorite photo to fulfill your package, you have 48 hours to choose your favorite. If you don't choose your favorites, I pick.

MINI-SESSION AGREEMENT

PORTRAIT SESSION: Client is guaranteed up to 3 different poses. 

CANCELLATION/POSTPONEMENT: Sessions are one day only September 30th. All sales are final. Money is due the day of the session either cash or check or you may place an online order 24-hours within the session. 

WEATHER: If sessions are canceled due to weather, Photographer and Client will reschedule at the earliest date possible, with no additional charge.

COOPERATION/NO SHOWS: Client will arrive 5 minutes early due to short shooting window. Photographer is not responsible if Client and/or key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during portrait sessions. Please remember these are back-to-back sessions. If a client who booked and reserved a session doesn't show and wants to make up their spot there will be an additional $15 charge.
