Family Session in Challis, Idaho. 

I went to Challis to see the Eldredge Family for some family photos. It has been a few years since I have been able to photograph them and I had the best time as usual. 

They have some of the most beautiful property in Challis, right by the river with mountain views, trees and are always to gracious and allow me to take other clients there for sessions. I appreciate them so much. 

Last time I saw them Laynee was not liking her picture taken, this time she smiled and even got her to twirl. She loved the photos - the boys not so much. Out of my ten years of experience the top two people who just don't like photos: teenage boys and dads. 

And to their defense it was so hot and we were getting eaten alive by bugs. They were so bad and it made it that much worse for them. Despite not liking photos and not wanting to do them, they still do. They still do what I ask and participate which is a huge component in family photos. Besides a teenage boy doesn't scare me, we are going to get the photos done regardless and they will smile or we are just there longer - something they don't want either. 

So we all push through, go through the session and we all live. The cycle of a family session. 

I always have fun with this family, Randi is fun so I always enjoy their sessions, whether the guys like it or not! I travel to Challis a few times a year for family sessions and always love going there.
