Kolby and Andrea made the trek to Salmon from Twin Falls. 

The couples lives in Twin Falls and is planning a May 2023 wedding in Fairfield, Idaho. Andrea originally was think of eloping to Salmon but opted for the beautiful Soldier Mountain. 

They came to Salmon for photos to get some winter engagement photos with actual snow. Which our winter seems to be a mixture of mud and snow and cold weather back to back, over and over. 

I took them to two separate spots and both were great. They wanted mountains and river and we nailed both. 

This was my first time both meeting and photographing Andrea and Kolby. The pressure was on. I wanted to make them feel comfortable, relaxed and to most importantly have fun and enjoy this time. 

Engagement photos are the pictures you often to use to "announce" your engagement, they sometimes are featured on Save the Dates or at a welcome table at the wedding. They are important photos and aren't usually used just once so I want the couple to remember the session as FUN and always a good memory when looking back at them. 

This may not be surprising but Kolby just wasn't that excited. If you have a significant other who is never really excited for picture day, you can relate. I know there are a lot of you out there. He pushed through the session and lived the tell the tale. Now he has to prep for wedding photos.
