Love in the High Desert: Chris and Stephanie's Engagement Session in Salmon, Idaho

There's something incredibly special about capturing love in the wild, untamed beauty of Idaho's landscapes. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Kris and Stephanie, a couple whose is visiting family in Salmon and wanted to take advantage of their time here and the scenery we are surrounded by. Their engagement session took place in the picturesque hills of Salmon, Idaho, where the golden hues of the desert and the majestic mountains created the perfect backdrop for their love to shine.

Holding Hands, Holding Hearts

We walked around the hills and captured so many great little moments between these two. I made them do silly things to make them laugh and try and loosen up. We were able to get a full 360 degree view of the mountains, the cliffs and valley in general. 

Capturing the Essence of Love

What made this session truly special was the natural chemistry between Kris and Stephanie. Their ease with each other and their joy in simply being together made every shot a genuine reflection of their relationship. The serene beauty of Salmon, Idaho, with its vast skies and rugged terrain, provided a perfect canvas to showcase their love story.

As a photographer, my goal is always to capture more than just images; I strive to capture emotions and moments that will be cherished for a lifetime. With Chris and Stephanie, this was effortlessly achieved. Their love is evident in every glance, every touch, and every shared laugh.
