Nathan and Annie eloped! 

These two eloped to Salmon! I was so honored to be able to document this special time for them. 

I first met Nathan, Nate the G8, at Ralph and Mallory Wing's wedding. I was photographing it and he was the DJ. I saw him again last year for Bo and Katie Kaufman's wedding and that was a blast. He does a lot of Sun Valley weddings and night clubs. 

Every year I am hopeful to be able to work with him again but we haven't been able to. I was so stoked when Annie said they were planning an elopement in Salmon! 

They got married at the Ranch Yard at the Sacajawea Center and it really was great, because there was a little rainstorm which created an amazing double rainbow. It was magical. They set up chairs for their family and friends, they had just a select group of people that they wanted there and that were there. 

Small elopements are so intimate and sweet. They usually have 20 or less people with small details but nothing "too fancy." In true DJ form, Nathan made there there was a microphone for their ceremony and handwritten vows. 

In Annie's vows she said, I am paraphrasing, how people are drawn to Nate, that they are always stopping to talk or shake his hand and that is so true. I have only met Nathan twice, this is the third, and there is something about him that draws you in. He is so much fun, genuine and it's like everyone loves him and he loves them back. He loves Annie so much, his vows quoting Shakespeare were top notch and ending with, "you are my best friend." 

I was so honored to be there!
