Shelby is a S•E•N•I•O•R

Shelby was a little shy but slowly got more and more comfortable for her photos. I loved that she wanted buildings, downtown. We live in such a beautiful place doing them in a field with the mountains is a no-brainer but going where someone may not see the "beauty" in an older building. These are the best sessions. 

I made Shelby so odd things to make her laugh, she did bring her own pep squad so that helped her feel comfortable and get some of those genuine smiles out of her. 

When I do a session downtown I always have a list of potential places I may want to use. This is based off of your outfits and everything - yes, I include this in my sessions. 

I chose some odd ones I thought but Shelby was a trooper and I just love all these photos so much. We even got some fall photos at a beautiful little sliver of trees really close to town. 

Then we headed to random places in town and just had fun, she ran, posed and laughed a lot. I had fun with her and I hope she had a blast as well. I made her sit on a broken down washer and just love how different they are and yet so beautiful.
