Say hello to Anika. 

Anika is a SENIOR at Salmon Junior-Senior High School. I cannot believe she is a senior this coming school year. 

I know Anika because I used to work with her mom, Anika was young at the time. She has always been so smart and witty and very determined. Anika is involved in sports and music and anything she can get her hands on it seems. 

This summer she's been working for the Forest Service and has already started her senior project! She is mentoring with Meri Galvan at Savage Strong Gym and entering a weightlifting competition, pretty awesome! 

I had so much fun with Amber and Anika. Anika had some ideas in her head of where she wanted to go and I LOVE THAT. It is great when a client knows where they want to go, or have an idea. I wanted to make sure we wouldn't be trespassing and asked for permission from a private property owner just in case we needed to utilize it since it was in the same area. 

It is such a gorgeous spot. Like this view is EVERYTHING. 

Anika's first outfit were these pair of really fun pants, a green color something different out of the norm. They were so much fun and really love when a senior has one outfit that is something they love but don't wear all the time! These make fun photos and add some fun without having your entire session in just that one outfit. 

We got some great shots, stopped on the side of the road and then headed to the river. The smoke from the Moose Fire worked in our favor and covered more of the sun than the mountains. It really was a great sunset session.
