Katie is going to be a senior. 

There hasn't been one time where Katie wasn't happy and bubbly when I've seen here. I have been able to work with her and her family before for a family session and Katie had some prom photos done a few years ago.  

Every time I have worked with Katie, she has been a "poser." And I mean she wants to pose and she moves her body when she hears the shutter on my camera. This is great. She know how she wants to move and it usually helps me, simply because you are already moving so I can just direct you. 

Katie had two outfits a tank top and shorts and a dress. Every senior gets questionnaire to fill out so I can get an idea of what they like in general, what they envision for their session and really what they like. This is important because you don't want to be everyone else, because you aren't. That's why I love to know what you like and love so I know where we should go. 

Katie liked more downtown scenes. We got some with some greenery, then headed downtown. Here, I already had some ideas of where I wanted to go depending on her outfits and colors. Sometimes clients send me their outfits prior so I can get an idea of complimentary areas and poses. This is a huge factor in taking senior portraits, you want to feel and look your best. 

I wanted to make the yellow kind of pop more and being downtown was kind of fun. I had this weird idea to have her just sit on the sidewalk next to the yellow paint. I really liked it. It's fun being downtown, our town is pretty cute.  Then we just went to a few other places I had in mind and Katie rocked each place!
