I first met part of the Ealand family a few years ago when Tara, mom, booked me for Canyon's senior portraits. We went downtown and took some cool shots of Canyon with his dog and skateboard. 

Fast forward a couple years, and I got to meet the other half of the family for some summer portraits. This is their first professional photos since their wedding day 22 years ago. I really love these stories because let's be honest, I preach you need to capture these moments and not letting you slip by but in reality that just doesn't happen sometimes. 

My son in eight and I just switched out prints on my walls from when he was a baby like a year ago, so yes, even I put it off. 

But I am so happy that even 22 years later I got to photograph this fantastic family. We knocked this session out in record time, it went so smoothly - I couldn't have WISHED for a better one. 

I love how the sun is hitting them and they all look wonderful and the dogs did so well. We met in the morning, the perfect time during the summer. It really is so much cooler in the morning, so if you can swing it, I suggest it. It may also be better for little ones. 

Sienna is going to be a senior this year in high school and I can't wait for her to shine during her senior portraits, she already rocked her single portrait during the family session.
