The James family is always so easy going. They trust me and are always willing to travel to Salmon from Challis if needed. This year I traveled that way again so I can photograph them.

Of course, the day of it's raining. 

That always seems to happen again when you have something planned and just need it all to work out - it doesn't. Yet, it does. 

They are so easy going, it was pouring and then all of sudden stopped and then slowly started again. The colors are so green from the rain, they are really beautiful. I also have to much fun with their boys, they are full of energy and family photos are still kinda "fun" to a certain point.

With so much energy, we just kept moving and did silly posses, serious poses and really whatever wanted because it was fun. We got some gorgeous fall colors at this location. So a perfect spot I really love it. 

Fall is always a busy time for family session but it goes by fast, the leaves don't always last that long - don't wait until it's too late.
