I love senior sessions. I really do. Why? 

I love being able to focus on one person and try and bring their personality out, to pose them and make them do silly things so they will laugh. That is exactly what I did with Jessie. 

She was a little hesitant on some of the prompts I wanted to try with her. I love pushing clients just a little out of their comfort zone for these types of photos because these are photos ABOUT THE SENIOR!

Jessie and I chatted about her outfits so I knew what she was wearing prior and talked about different locations. I really loved her lace cardigan outfit it was more of a fall look and really loved her white sweater. Her naturally long hair was beautifully styled along with her makeup. 

I made her do some silly things that I think made her question her decision to hire me but she loves the end result. I am always telling my clients - I know it feels awkward but TRUST ME. 

And Jessie did trust me. I had her lie down in the smallest little gathering of purple flowers, and the photos came out super cute! You can see them on my Instagram (@bellanetphotography).
