I haven't photographed Lacie and her boys in such a long time - it has been years. 

So when Harli, Lacie's younger sister gifted her a mommy and me session for her birthday it was such a great little surprise. Harli is so sweet and really thoughtful and seems to just truly love Lacie and her nephews. 

I met with Lacie and both boys were SO GOOD. We ran around and played red light-green light. We went down to the river and they found lots of sticks. Mommy and me sessions are so special. I love mommy and me sessions because these tend to be photos om has always wanted. 

Photos of her and her babies. Those kind of photos she can get dressed up, feel extra beautiful and get some amazing photos with her kids. I have one good photo of my son and I. I got dressed up one day, parted his hair with some gel and got my settings right and handed my camera off to a friend for her to snap a shot. I purposely posed myself with him and it's one of my favorite photos. I felt special getting ready and taking a "special" photo with him. 

Yes, it seems stressful at first but really we just get together and play games. But those special photos of mom an her kids while they are growing up can be so special.

Just like Lacie and the boys it's so much fun to get photos taken with just your kids and such special memories for them to remember and hang on the wall.
