When I say "Disco" I mean Discovery Hill. 

If you are from Salmon you probably know what I mean by Discovery Hill. Chances are you have even been there, and if you haven't you need it. 

Discovery Hill has some of the best views of Salmon and the cliffs. In addition to the incredible scenery there is a BLM-managed trail system for hiking mountain biking, and dirt biking. There is almost always someone up there mountain biking, hiking or walking their dogs. 

Not only is Discovery Hill aka Disco, so gorgeous and really a beautiful spot for portrait sessions but this is where Iris and Peter met. So taking their engagement photos here were a given.

These two outdoor adventurists met while mountain biking in the winter, one leaving, one arriving and fate just works and here they are, planning a wedding. 

I had so much fun with them. I was nervous at first, just haven't done a session in awhile and always get pre-session jitters. January is my slowest months, due to the cold weather, and I try to take this time to re-coop and take some time off since I know I will be busy in the warmer months. 

Iris said she had never gotten professional photos taken before so I am so happy with was with me. Iris is from Salmon, both Iris and Peter live in Driggs. They were visiting and took advantage of their time here to sneak in some engagement photos. 

We really just walked around and I had them do silly poses and things and it was great! I had a lot of fun with these two. I warned them immediately it may get awkward, but we were going to get thru it together. Peter and Iris were both great in front of the camera and the perfect weather didn't hurt.
