Meet the Ray family.

This is my first time working with the Ray family who moved to Salmon earlier this year. Colter is actually from Salmon and came "home" with his family.

It was great seeing Colter, we were in the same class and it was wonderful meeting his wife Allison and their two children Ella and Waylon. It's probably been well over 20 years since seeing Colter. 

I made Colter and Allison take some beautiful photos together, always my favorite. I love couple photos. 

Ella and Waylon were really fun to work with. They were full of energy and Ella is like my spirit animal, she is definitely going to be a boss one day. I have no doubt. 

I know a lot of parents worry about how their children will "act" but don't. Really. One of my biggest things is letting the kids be kids. Why? After photographing over 100 family sessions, one thing I have learned more forced controlled leads to easier break downs. I want to create a fun and relaxed environment for you and your children, this means letting them be themselves. That is what we are there for, to photograph them. 

We just walked around a got a lot of great shots. We have had such a nice and warm fall, I was so happy it was nice and sunny. Fall mornings can get cold. But this spot seemed to work perfectly for this family of four.
